Scottish Climate Change Bill

Sustainable Transport
According to the Scottish Government´s sustainable transport home page, sustainable transport is about reducing the environmental, social and economic impact of travel by promoting and facilitating people and organisations to use more sustainable and active forms of travel. Waste
In January 2008, the new Scottish Government outlined ambitious plans for a Zero Waste Scotland. The aim of the plan is to maximise recycling, minimise waste and ensure that products are made to be reused, repaired or recycled. Food and health
According to the "Community Food and Health (Scotland)" website, Food and health initiatives help people take up healthy diet, especially those in low-income communities. A recently added publication entitled "The Missing Ingredients" serves to outline the practice, policy and impact of food, health and homelessness issues in Scotland.
