Call for applications for Directors / Trustees by Renfrewshire Environmental Trust: Archived 29th Nov 2010.
We are currently recruiting Directors/Trustees to provide the necessary strategic and organisational oversight to strengthen the charity for the future. The role of Director is voluntary (although out of pocket expenses are paid) and they make a vital contribution to the development of the Trust. Directors conduct their business at meetings held four times per year. They may attend other events or activities as they arise. There are no specific qualifications for directorship and we draw our Board from a wide range of backgrounds. Those with local knowledge and expertise in areas such as recycling, training, business, management and IT would be particularly welcomed, although we would be please to hear from anyone who shares our support for Renfrewshire´s environment. In the first instance you should contact the office and an information pack will be sent to you.
Closing date is Tuesday 16th November 2010.
