Community Recycling

Pressure group Friends of the Earth have researched into what materials are likely to be leftover as residual household waste once the maximum recycling, composting and waste minimisation targets have been achieved, and to examine what exactly should be done with them. Permaculture Association

The Permaculture Association is an organisation which supports the creation of sustainable, agriculturally productive, non-polluting and healthy settlements. Which in many cases can mean adapting existing settlements, or it can mean starting from scratch, both of which offer interesting challenges and opportunities.
