Pressure group Friends of the Earth have researched into what materials are likely to be leftover as residual household waste once the maximum recycling, composting and waste minimisation targets have been achieved, and to examine what exactly should be done with them. The Permaculture Association is an organisation which supports the creation of sustainable, agriculturally productive, non-polluting and healthy settlements.
